About This Role

Role Overview:

We're looking for a Senior Mobile Developer with deep Android expertise to build and optimize tablet-focused applications, including customized Android OS work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust Android applications using Jetpack Compose
  • Architect scalable solutions using MVVM and MVI patterns
  • Implement asynchronous, reactive code using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
  • Customize and optimize Android OS for tablet-specific hardware and use cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature design and delivery
  • Maintain clean, well-documented, version-controlled code

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Android Development and Kotlin
  • Proficiency in Jetpack Compose for modern UI development
  • Solid understanding of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for async programming
  • Expertise in MVVM and MVI architectural patterns
  • Prior experience customizing Android OS for tablet-specific devices/environments
  • Proficient with Git for version control
  • 5+ years of relevant Android development experience

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with embedded systems or AOSP (Android Open Source Project)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile releases

  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information
