Staff Security Engineer
London, England, United Kingdom · Dublin, Ireland
At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs. If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value. THE WORK: As a Staff Security Engineer on the Security Operations team, you will help Ripple detect, investigate, and respond to security threats across our environment. You'll work across detection and data engineering, incident response, and security automation — building the tooling and detection logic that lets the team scale. You'll operate independently on sophisticated investigations and detection initiatives, and you'll be a technical reference point for less senior engineers on the team. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Design, build, and tune detections across our security stack (Google Security Operations) to improve our ability to identify and mitigate threats. Lead incident response for the most complex and high-severity investigations, from initial triage through root cause and remediation. Build and maintain security automation workflows (e.g., in Tines) that reduce manual toil in detection, triage, and response. Own and improve SIEM/data pipeline health, including log source coverage, parsing/normalization, and alert quality. Develop cross-functional relationships to influence security initiatives and drive adoption of security tooling. Maintain awareness of the evolving threat landscape and translate that awareness into concrete improvements to our detection coverage and response playbooks. Use AI tools as more than a chatbot — agentic coding tools like Claude Code or OpenAI Codex for detection engineering and automation work — while knowing when a given tool is (and isn't) the right fit, and verifying output before it ships. Participate in the design review process, giving and receiving constructive feedback to keep detection and automation projects on track — and break complex detection challenges into simple systems and repeatable processes other engineers can build and maintain. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 7+ years of experience in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response, with a track record of owning incident response and detection work end-to-end. Advanced knowledge of security principles, tools, and practices used in blue teaming operations, with advanced proficiency in at least one scripting language for tasks like response automation and using REST APIs to automate security operations work. Experience with SIEM platforms and security data pipelines (e.g., Google SecOps) — you understand log source onboarding, parsing, and alert tuning, not just querying. Hands-on experience with EDR, identity, email security, and network security tooling at a level where you can extend and tune the tooling, not just operate it. Ability to write clean technical specs, identify risks before starting major projects, and reason clearly about trade-offs between alternative approaches. Ability to break down complex projects into simple systems and repeatable processes that other engineers can build and maintain, and to seek and give constructive feedback in design review. Problem-solving skills to resolve ambiguous or high-pressure situations effectively and creatively, while maintaining flexibility, professionalism, and integrity. Understands and anticipates people's needs, skills, and abilities, to coach, motivate, and empower them for success. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs. If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value. The work: We're seeking a dedicated, passionate, and eager Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to join our team responsible for leading Ripple's Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) migration program. This is a challenging and technical role, requiring the expertise to synthesize business and technical requirements and the foresight to ensure we are solving for Ripple's current and future security needs ahead of Q-Day. You will work closely with InfoSec, XRPL Core, Payments, Custody, Stablecoin, Platform, Compliance, and Legal to drive a company-wide cryptographic migration across asymmetric ciphers, symmetric ciphers, hashing functions, and digital signatures. You will partner with InfoSec on the high-level strategy, but also know when to get hands-on to push an initiative forward. You must be passionate about enabling teams to invent and deliver security-focused solutions to bold and ambiguous challenges. What you'll do: Drive execution of Ripple's PQC program end-to-end, from cryptographic asset inventory through risk prioritization, tradeoff analysis, and migration execution, against a Q-Day-readiness target of the end of 2028. Stand up and own a cross-org PQC working group with named owners across XRPL Core, Payments, Custody, Stablecoin, Platform, and InfoSec. Drive alignment with vendors and partners (custody partners, exchanges, payment processors, HSM vendors) on compatible PQC roadmaps, escalating gaps. Reduce ambiguity and risk by proactively identifying and eliminating bottlenecks and obstacles, raising issues strategically, and making sound data-driven decisions that deliver for our customers based on associated trade-offs. Communicate program status, risk, and progress with purpose and clarity to engineering leadership and executive sponsors, including maintaining the program dashboard reviewed monthly by execs. Be a role model and an inspiring leader for other TPMs. Create technical frameworks that can be used by engineering teams for decision-making. Influence & improve the efficiency of Operational Excellence processes org-wide. Partner with program managers, product managers, and engineering managers to understand development priorities and drive alignment across multiple partners with impactful priorities. Coordinate testing and release dependencies for assigned engineering teams, and across teams as products converge for release. Build migration-progress, risk-register, and readiness dashboards to advise partners and leadership of progress and gaps. What you'll bring: 10+ years of program management experience on initiatives involving sophisticated enterprise tech environments, working directly with many teams across functions. Solid understanding of cryptographic fundamentals (asymmetric/symmetric ciphers, hashing, digital signatures) sufficient to synthesize technical tradeoffs with engineering and InfoSec stakeholders. Prior exposure to PQC, cryptographic migrations, or security/compliance-driven technical programs is a strong plus. Ability to use data and analytics to look at trends and lead health of projects and systems. Ability to coordinate multi-functionally, build consensus, and execute across teams. Able to influence without authority, negotiate, and encourage others in a matrixed environment. Experience with Jira and Confluence, and proficiency in Google Sheets. Experience crafting or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems. Experience in Payments, Custody, Stablecoin, and/or Blockchain ecosystems. Engineering Manager, Digital Assets
Chicago, Illinois, United States
At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs. If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value. The Opportunity This solution does not yet exist. Corporate treasury teams must choose between old treasury platforms that fail to support digital assets and crypto-native tools that lack fundamental enterprise treasury elements. You will head the engineering effort to remove this choice by incorporating Ripple's digital asset abilities into the Ripple Treasury platform in close partnership with Ripple's core digital assets team. This is a greenfield role. You will join forces with a seasoned infrastructure engineer and a product lead, forming a team of up to four full-stack developers. The direction may change day-to-day as the team finds what works best. There is no guidebook and no comparable market solution. You will determine how digital assets fit into corporate treasury workflows — and through this, help establish a new category of enterprise software. What You'll Do Manage the engineering process for digital asset integration by building and designing systems that join Ripple's digital asset functions (XRP, RLUSD, tokenized assets, custody, cross-border settlement) with Ripple Treasury's enterprise platform. Build and manage a group of up to four full-stack .NET developers, recruiting, mentoring, and developing engineers while staying actively involved in coding. Ship working software daily — lead a fast-paced Kanban workflow where the team builds, presents, iterates, and adapts direction based on findings and collaborator feedback. Work closely with Ripple's core digital assets team to grasp protocol capabilities, integration points, and roadmap alignment. Design full-stack solutions spanning .NET backend services and Angular or React frontends, ensuring enterprise-grade reliability, security, and auditability. Navigate ambiguity with confidence — make sound engineering decisions with incomplete information, course-correct quickly, and keep the team productive through rapid pivots. Partner with product, compliance, and treasury domain experts to translate emerging requirements into shippable features that meet the needs of Fortune 500 CFOs and treasurers. Define engineering practices for the team — establish coding standards, review processes, testing strategies, and deployment patterns appropriate for a fast-moving, pioneering effort. What You Bring 7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong full-stack background in .NET and modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or equivalent) Over 2 years of experience in leading engineering teams, encompassing recruitment, mentoring, and development of engineering groups Demonstrated ability to ship software in fast-paced, ambiguous environments — you have built products where requirements were unclear or changing rapidly Production background in fintech, digital assets, or blockchain — you have delivered systems managing actual financial transactions or digital asset activities Comfort with pioneering work — you thrive when the playbook hasn't been written yet and find energy in defining new approaches Strong communication and collaboration skills — ability to work closely with cross-functional partners including product managers, compliance teams, and external engineering teams Hands-on leadership orientation — willingness and ability to write production code alongside your team, especially in the early stages of team building Nice to Have Deep familiarity with blockchain protocols, digital asset custody, tokenization, or cross-border settlement systems Experience with XRP Ledger, RLUSD, or Ripple's product ecosystem Background in corporate treasury, treasury management systems, or enterprise financial software Experience integrating traditional financial infrastructure with digital asset platforms Familiarity with regulatory requirements for digital asset products in financial services WHO WE ARE: Do Your Best Work The opportunity to build in a fast-paced start-up environment with experienced industry leaders A learning environment where you can dive deep into the latest technologies and make an impact. A professional development budget to support other modes of learning. Thrive in an environment where no matter what race, ethnicity, gender, origin, or culture they identify with, every employee is a respected, valued, and empowered part of the team. In-office collaboration for moments that matter is important to our culture, and we give managers and teams the flexibility to decide which 10+ days a month they come in. Director, Global Transformation
Chicago, Illinois, United States · New York, New York, United States
At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs. If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value. THE WORK: Ripple Treasury is redefining how businesses move, manage, and settle money across borders — and we’re looking for a Director of Global Transformation to help lead that charge internally. This senior individual-contributor and leadership role is part of our Program Management team. It requires broad collaboration with Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Go-to-Market teams. The role focuses on driving sophisticated, enterprise-wide initiatives from strategy to execution. You will own end-to-end transformation programs that improve the way Ripple Treasury functions at scale — spanning process development, technology adoption, leading shifts within the organization, and performance measurement. This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, builds trust with senior team members quickly, and can translate high-level strategic goals into actionable roadmaps and measurable outcomes. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across Ripple Treasury, driving cross-functional alignment from ideation through delivery and post-launch optimization. Partner with senior leaders from Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and GTM to define program scope, success metrics, and governance structures. Own sophisticated program roadmaps: build and maintain project plans, identify dependencies, proactively surface risks, and drive resolution. Champion organizational change management — develop communication strategies, training plans, and adoption frameworks that embed lasting change. Translate ambiguous strategic priorities into structured, executable work with clear ownership and accountability. Establish and maintain program health reporting and executive-level status updates; facilitate steering committees and cross-functional working sessions. Identify systemic inefficiencies in how Ripple Treasury operates and develop the argument, roadmap, and delivery plan to address them. Collaborate closely with peer Program Managers and serve as a senior thought partner, elevating the practice of coordinating programs across the team. Represent the PMO perspective in planning cycles, crafting how transformation initiatives are prioritized and resourced. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: Proven experience in program management, management consulting, strategy, or a related field, with at least 3–5 years in a Director-level or equivalent senior role. Experience owning and delivering large-scale, cross-functional transformation programs at a high-growth tech company or financial services firm. Exceptional collaborator leadership skills — you build credibility quickly with executives and peers alike, and can navigate organizational complexity with ease. Strong process design and systems-thinking skills; you can map current-state, develop future-state, and build the bridge between them. Comfort working across product, engineering, and operations contexts — you don’t need to be a technical expert, but you know how to partner with teams who are. Proficient in written and verbal expression, capable of making complex topics accessible for executive audiences. Proficiency with modern program management tooling (Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent); familiarity with data tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) is a plus. Demonstrated experience applying AI tools to program management or operational workflows — including using large language models (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to accelerate research, synthesize information, draft communications, or automate routine tasks. Comfort adopting and evaluating emerging AI capabilities; able to identify where AI tooling can meaningfully improve team productivity and program outcomes, and champion adoption across cross-functional collaborators. Experience in FinTech, payments, or financial infrastructure is a strong plus. Nice to Have Hands-on experience with Claude (Anthropic) for business workflows — including prompt design, Cowork or API-based automation, or deploying Claude within team tooling. Background in management consulting (top-tier firm) or corporate strategy. Exposure to global or multi-regional program delivery across time zones and regulatory environments. Familiarity with B2B payments, treasury management, or cross-border settlement. PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification. Director, Global SDR Operations
London, England, United Kingdom
At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs. If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value. THE WORK: We're looking for a player-coach Director, Global SDR Operations to lead a team of six Sales Development Representatives spanning New York, São Paulo, London, Dubai, and Singapore. You'll own the SDR team's contribution to qualify pipeline through two motions: outbound prospecting, and fast, thorough follow-up on marketing-sourced leads. You'll partner closely with Growth Marketing to convert leads into qualified opportunities and to feed lessons from outbound efforts back into refining campaign targeting. This role reports directly to the leader of the GTM Strategy and Operations team. This role, as well as the individual SDRs, will have a dotted-line reporting relationship with the regional Managing Directors, reflecting the SDR team's primary directive: to serve the revenue goals, strategic priorities, and market nuances of each sales region. Senior Backend Engineer, Growth (US)
New York, New York, United States
$$180-$$200 / year
Nanit is moving families beyond overwhelm by transforming how parents understand their baby's early years. We combine advanced AI, real-world data from billions of sleep hours, and clinical expertise to deliver the clarity and confidence every parent deserves. Trusted by over one million families and backed by $125M in funding, we're building an entirely new category: predictive parenting intelligence. Here, your work directly impacts millions of families. Our team of scientists, engineers, and parents is small but mighty - we share a mission to make early childhood easier, healthier, and more connected. If you want to work on technology that genuinely matters, join us. You'll be the founding backend engineer on a new Growth team - a cross-functional squad owning the full customer funnel, from a parent first considering Nanit through purchase, subscription, engagement, and eventually referring to us or buying again. You'll also be the first R&D engineer based at our US site, hybrid, with your manager and the rest of the team in a different time zone - so you'll need to hold context, make decisions, unblock yourself, and know when a question is worth raising rather than waiting on a sync. Your closest day-to-day partners will be mobile engineers and product managers What You'll Be Doing Own the backend behind growth bets. Build and ship the services powering paywalls, subscription tiering, onboarding journeys, in-app messaging, referral mechanics, trial models, and checkout bundling. Make growth measurable. Build and extend the experimentation and instrumentation layer - feature flags, experiment assignment, event tracking - so every bet the team makes can be evaluated on real data rather than opinion. Work end to end across the funnel. Move between acquisition, activation, and retention work as the roadmap demands, rather than owning a single narrow surface. Partner tightly with mobile and product. Most of what you build is consumed by our iOS and Android apps. You'll design API contracts in conversation with the engineers using them and with the PMs shaping the experiments. Operate with high agency. Take ambiguous problems, decide on an approach, communicate it clearly in writing, and ship. Escalate deliberately, not by default. Set the pattern for US engineering at Nanit. How you work - documentation, async communication, on-call, review habits - becomes the template for everyone who follows. Anchor on-call coverage in your time zone. Be first responder for production alerts during your working hours, extending the backend group toward true follow-the-sun coverage. Triage, mitigate, escalate what you can't, and hand off open threads in writing. Contribute to the backend guild. Help drive best practices, guidelines, and standards across R&D, and keep the US perspective represented in them. Qualifications Professional Experience: 5+ years of backend software development with strong coding skills and solid experience in software design and architecture. Proven Autonomy: Demonstrated success working with significant independence - ideally in a distributed team with limited timezone overlap with your manager or peers. Written Communication: Excellent asynchronous communication. You write clearly enough that decisions and context survive without a meeting. Product Mindset: Comfort with ambiguity and with shipping to learn. You care about the outcome metric, not only the ticket. High-Scale Systems: Experience with critical production systems and techniques like load balancing, caching, and distributed systems. Web Services: Proficiency designing and maintaining APIs consumed by mobile clients (REST, gRPC, WebSocket). Experimentation and Analytics: Hands-on experience with A/B testing infrastructure, feature flags, and event instrumentation (e.g., Unleash, Mixpanel). Testing: Solid experience in testing methodologies and test automation frameworks. Monitoring and Observability: Proficient with tools like Grafana and Prometheus. Delivery Track Record: Proven experience delivering backend projects successfully. Agile Familiarity: Knowledge of Agile methodologies. Containers and Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage. Preferred Skills Experience with consumer subscription products - billing, plan tiering, App Store and Google Play in-app purchases, or Stripe. Prior work on a growth, monetization, or lifecycle team. Ability to independently take a concept from research to production. Enthusiasm for new technologies and willingness to explore them. Commitment to well-crafted and rigorously tested code. Willingness to travel to Tel Aviv for onboarding and periodically thereafter. Why You’ll Love Working Here: Hybrid in-office schedule Remote work from home month in August Flexible PTO (we trust you to take the time you need) Equity options so you can share in our growth Paid parental leave for all new parents Employee discounts on Nanit products Work from home stipend Monthly team events What We Offer We provide an innovative and inclusive work environment, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth. We believe in productivity rather than hours on the clock and value collaboration and innovative thinking. We take pride in our customer satisfaction and believe that our success comes from delivering exceptional value to our customers. EEO, Salary and Location: This is a hybrid role that will require prospective candidates to be in our NYC office 2-3 days per week. Salary Range: $180 to $200 base salary + equity and benefits. The base pay is one component of Nanit's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance.
