### **Why Origami?** We build and deploy AI research agents that gather context for companies doing B2B sales in the same way their human sales reps would do. We've scaled quickly, as the fastest growing company in our Y Combinator batch. ### **The Role** As one of our first engineering hires, you'll shape the very foundation of our company. This isn't your typical "implement these specs" kind of role: you will be building our product from the ground up, putting your fingerprints all over our tech stack, processes, and company DNA. \ We don't have layers of management or rigid processes. You'll work directly with our killer team members to make big decisions and go 1 to 100. When something needs fixing, you'll spot it and fix it. When we need to figure out the right approach, you'll be a big proponent of the final decision. \ This role comes with significant responsibilities, end result of the autonomy you'll have to execute on your vision. No one will be micromanaging your day. We're looking for someone who thrives when given space to solve problems their own way, with understanding of our organization’s priorities and goals. \ For the right person, this role is rocket fuel for your career. Show us you can build and lead, and you will find yourself heading up entire areas of our business down the road. **The Person We're Looking For** * We don’t care about formal experience as long as you can ship fast and are a natural product builder * Prefer deep work over constant chatter - more thoughtful than performative * Think in systems and care about doing things the right way * Are self-driven, highly detail-oriented, and always improving * Communicate clearly and listen well - personable without ego * Value substance over hype, team wins over personal recognition * Nice to have: 1-3 years of experience at a fast-growing B2B SaaS startup (ideally AI-native) * Nice to have: Have worked on a dev team (4+ engineers) and understand team dynamics **Note:** We care more about your building capabilities and shipping velocity than your formal background or credentials.
