🔥 Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain – Write clean, standards-compliant PHP (PSR-12, Composer, a framework like Laravel/Symfony). Turn requirements into working features and fix bugs across application logic and the database.
• Design features – Own how a feature is built: structure the code, design database tables, and define APIs — not just follow instructions.
• Quality and security – Write tests, review others' code, and handle the essentials safely: prepared statements, input validation, and protection against SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF.
• APIs and integrations – Build and consume REST APIs, and integrate third-party services from their docs independently.
• Work independently – Take an unclear requirement, ask the right questions, break it down, estimate, and deliver without hand-holding. Know when to decide alone and when to escalate, and flag blockers early.
• AI-assisted development – Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) to work faster, but review all output critically and ship only code they understand.
• Delivery – Use Git properly, understand deployments and migrations, and debug issues in production.
• Keep improving – Stay current with PHP versions, framework updates, and tooling.

😊 About You

• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• Strong experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
• Proficiency in designing and developing REST APIs and working with MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices, including SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF protection, and input validation.
• Experience writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following PSR standards and using Composer.
• Hands-on experience with Git, deployments, database migrations, and production debugging.
• Ability to independently design features, break down requirements, and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Claude while validating generated code.
