Description

In this role, you'll own the complete mechanical lifecycle of enclosures and assemblies for electronic hardware that must withstand extreme ocean conditions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable systems from concept through production, prototyping and testing with your own hands.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
• 5+ years experience designing electronic systems for production
• Expertise in 3D CAD (ideally Siemens NX)
• Proficient in GD&T and tolerance stack-ups
• Track record of delivering hardware through design-build-test cycles

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical integration of electronics from concept to production
• Design mechanical systems for PCBs and electronic subassemblies
• Create 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, GD&T, tolerances, and BOMs
• Engineer for airflow, EMI shielding, shock, and vibration
• Prototype and test designs for fast iteration
