Refund Policy

1. Payment processing
All payments for CareerPair Pro subscriptions are processed by Paddle, who acts as our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all billing, invoicing, sales tax, and refund processing on our behalf.
2. Refund eligibility
If you are not satisfied with your CareerPair Pro subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. No questions asked.
Refunds after the 14-day window are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
3. How to request a refund
To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with the email address associated with your account. We will process your refund through Paddle within 5–10 business days.
4. What happens after a refund
- Your Pro subscription will be canceled immediately.
- You will lose access to Pro features (AI tailoring, cover letter generation, AI chat, bullet generation, magic tailor).
- Your resumes, cover letters, and other documents will remain in your account — nothing is deleted.
- You can continue using CareerPair on the Free plan.
5. Subscription cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period. Cancellation alone does not trigger a refund — if you would like a refund, please contact us.
6. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. If you do not wish to be charged for the next period, cancel before the renewal date. We do not issue refunds for unwanted renewals if the cancellation was not made before the billing date.
