Description

You will lead the Avionics team in designing, developing, and deploying modular and reusable spacecraft like Nyx. You'll oversee spacecraft integration, verification, and certification, driving innovation and ensuring project milestones are met with high technical quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in avionics equipment design for aerospace applications
• Proficiency in avionics design tools and software
• Understanding of space relevant standards (ECSS, MIL-STD, NASA-HBK) and regulations
• Knowledge of safety-critical design principles and RAMS aspects

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary avionics team
• Define system requirements and architecture for avionics, communication, and power systems
• Lead breadboard activities, PCB design, FPGA programming, integration, testing, and qualification
• Set up and manage Hardware-in-the-Loop environment for system validation and mission simulations
• Collaborate with software, GNC, and flight computing teams to define cohesive system architecture
