💼 About This Role

You'll maintain and enhance internal and public-facing database infrastructure to support scalability, security, and long-term performance. You'll collaborate with a team of 6 DBAs, developers, and product managers. Your work ensures reliability and robustness for critical platforms at a leading European cloud provider.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Maintain and evolve internal databases (updates, optimizations, automation).
• Contribute to public database services and integrate new engine features.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents and bugs affecting databases.
• Deploy new instances and design backup strategies (snapshots, HA, DR).

📋 Requirements

• Solid experience administering at least one major RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) in production.
• Ability to deploy and maintain databases with HA, replication, and backups.
• Strong Linux system administration and Bash scripting skills.
• Experience with automation tools: Ansible, Docker, Git, CI/CD.

✨ Nice to Have

• Development experience in Python or Go.
• Familiarity with Prometheus monitoring.
• Experience with Oracle or Dedibox infrastructure.
