💼 About This Role

You'll own the transition from prototype to production for electric trailer systems at a startup. You'll bridge engineering and production, cultivate supplier relationships, and establish scalable processes. This role offers a chance to lead industrialization in Detroit's manufacturing hub.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end industrialization of electric trailer systems
• Develop and own manufacturing process documentation
• Establish production tooling and assembly line design
• Manage strategic manufacturing partners and suppliers

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years in manufacturing engineering or industrialization
• Proven track record taking electromechanical systems from prototype to production launch
• Deep familiarity with automotive or heavy equipment manufacturing processes
• Hands-on experience with DFM/DFA, FMEA, PFMEA

✨ Nice to Have

• Electric vehicle experience
• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification
• Experience managing offshore contract manufacturers
