Description

You'll conduct high-complexity research to understand League of Legends players, using methods like interviews, surveys, playtests, and usability studies. You'll collaborate with developers to turn findings into actionable recommendations that shape product strategy and champion the player perspective.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Psychology, Anthropology, HCI or related plus 9+ years experience (advanced degree counts)
• Broad experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods with deep expertise in at least one area
• 3+ years research in the games industry
• Experience conducting research to answer product or portfolio strategy questions
• Adept at communicating effectively at all levels from devs to executives

Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end studies using qualitative and quantitative methods for player motivations and opportunity areas
• Lead vendor engagements for global playtesting, focus groups, and surveys
• Conduct playtests and usability testing to iterate on product designs
• Partner with analysts and designers to generate insights framing strategic direction of League of Legends
• Communicate research findings through compelling narratives to drive executive decision-making
