You will develop low-level embedded software for real-time systems on Terran R rocket avionics, working close to hardware to build reliable firmware for sensors, actuators, and communication systems. Collaborate with hardware and test engineers to validate and integrate systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience developing software for embedded systems
• Proficiency in C/C++ for real-time systems
• Experience with ARM Cortex microcontrollers and peripherals
• Ability to work close to hardware and interface with sensors/actuators
• Collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontroller based systems
• Interface firmware with hardware peripherals, sensors, and power electronics
• Develop low-level firmware and drivers for GPIO, SPI, DMA, ADC, timers on ARM Cortex microcontrollers
• Collaborate with hardware and test engineers during bring-up, validation, and system integration
