Description

You will design and own data pipelines and products that power Product, Data Science, and GTM functions at Stripe. You'll work with Scala, Spark, and Airflow to build and refine data foundations, leveraging LLMs and agents at scale. This role gives you the opportunity to have an outsized impact on the business by enabling data-driven decisions and customer-centric products.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering with focus on data services or data-intensive applications
• Strong engineering background with interest in data
• Experience with writing and debugging data pipelines using distributed data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
• Proficiency in backend development (Scala, Java, or Go) and strong SQL
• Ability to communicate cross-functionally and architect shared datasets

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own data pipelines, models, and products for Product, Data Science, and GTM functions
• Manage SLAs for data pipelines and full stack web applications supporting stakeholders
• Build and refine data foundations using Scala, Spark, and Airflow
• Leverage LLM and Agents at scale to produce high-quality data on ambiguous problems
• Refine data marts to forecast business performance and measure attainment
