Description

You will serve as the primary electrical subject matter expert for Rocket Lab's headquarters and Engine Development Center, planning and executing electrical infrastructure projects, coordinating with internal teams, and performing installation, troubleshooting, and upgrades of building electrical systems up to 480V.

Requirements

• 8+ years of electrical maintenance experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, or regulated manufacturing
• High school diploma or GED (or 12+ years experience in lieu)
• Experience with facilities systems and improvement projects
• Licensed electrician or certified electrical professional preferred
• Capable of solving complex problems with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary electrical SME for HQ and Engine Development Center
• Plan, scope, and execute electrical infrastructure projects (power distribution, panel upgrades, machine installs, lighting)
• Coordinate with internal customers to define electrical requirements and project timelines
• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade building electrical systems (120V–480V, 3-phase)
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and construction drawings
