Description

You will support the Esports Event Technology team by building, maintaining, and automating the infrastructure and tools that power Riot's global esports events. This role involves international travel (10-40%) and collaboration across engineering and operations to ensure reliable event delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Systems/Infrastructure Engineering roles
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform for automation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
• Expertise in Linux and Windows systems
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and virtualization (e.g., VMware)

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for core infrastructure systems and services
• Design, support, and evolve global esports infrastructure
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team across engineering and operations
• Develop technical standards and enable operations via documentation and automation
• Participate in global event support including non-standard hours
