💼 About This Role

You'll design and build backend systems for an AI-native wealth platform that expands access to private market investments. You'll translate investment strategies into scalable product experiences, working with cross-functional teams to bring structure to complex financial processes. This role offers the chance to architect data models and build APIs for alternative assets like private equity and venture capital.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build end-to-end backend systems for the alternatives platform
• Develop APIs, workflows, and internal tooling for fund structures and investor allocations
• Partner with the Private Investments Team to translate strategies into product experiences
• Architect scalable data models for complex fund structures and performance tracking

📋 Requirements

• 7–10 years of software engineering experience
• Strong command of Python
• Experience building production systems with data models, workflows, and APIs
• Based in the Bay Area or willing to relocate

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with alternatives workflows (fund admin, investor onboarding, reporting)
• Background in fintech, wealth management, or investment platforms
• Exposure to investment teams or clients (RIA, private banks, asset managers)

📨 Hiring Process

Introductory call with Head of Talent, followed by hiring manager, two technical coding interviews, a system design interview, and a co-founder interview; one in-person interview required.
