💼 About This Role

You'll join Spotify's Personalization team to build recommendation systems for millions of users. You'll prototype and productize state-of-the-art ML at the intersection of recommendations and long-term user satisfaction. You'll collaborate with research and data scientists to drive impactful changes to Home recommendations.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and scale reward signals for recommendations
• Develop hands-on ML models and best practices
• Lead collaborations to integrate mid-term signals
• A/B test and refine recommendation systems

📋 Requirements

• Strong background in machine learning with expertise in statistics and optimization
• Hands-on experience with production ML systems at scale in Java, Scala, or Python
• Experience with PyTorch, Ray, Hugging Face or similar tools
• Experience with large-scale distributed data processing like Apache Beam or Spark and cloud platforms like GCP or AWS
