Description

You will lead the design and development of full factory solutions for consumer electronics, managing projects from initial ideation through machine ownership and hand-off to operations. Your work will directly contribute to building high-rate factories for the Starlink satellite internet system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or science
• Experience with CAD and FEA software packages
• 5+ years experience with mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, or manufacturing
• Proficient in 3D CAD and PLM programs, preferably Siemens NX and Teamcenter
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage factory design projects from ideation to machine ownership and hand-off
• Develop design criteria and drive system-level optimization for in-house machine design
• Refine production systems for high-rate, high-yield, and reliable processes
• Implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant systems for robots, gantries, conveyors
• Create schedules and budgets, and motivate team to achieve them
