Description

You will design, operationalize, and optimize the data persistence layer for mission-critical systems, working with SRE, Platform, and Engineering teams to ensure performance, reliability, and automation. This hands-on engineering role focuses on building resilient data infrastructure.

Requirements

• 4+ years PostgreSQL experience in production environments
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL internals (WAL, MVCC, vacuum, replication)
• Production experience with MySQL (InnoDB, replication, performance tuning)
• Advanced SQL and schema design skills
• Experience with automation using Go or Python

Responsibilities

• Design and operate highly available PostgreSQL clusters
• Optimize query performance, indexing, and schema design
• Automate provisioning, configuration, backups, and failovers
• Build monitoring, alerting, and self-healing systems
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis
