💼 About This Role
You'll join a two-person team building motor test benches and Python-based software infrastructure for a next-generation defense prime. You'll bridge hardware testing and software development to accelerate propulsion system development for autonomous systems.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Build and maintain hardware motor test benches for propulsion performance measurement.
- Develop and improve internal Python-based tools for testbench operations and data visualization.
- Execute motor tests, upload results to cloud platform, and author technical reports.
- Participate in design meetings for new platforms providing propulsion expertise.
📋 Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechatronics, Programming, or related field (or exceptional portfolio).
- Python proficiency for data analysis, plotting, and sensor integration.
- Practical understanding of propulsion physics and experience with electric propulsion systems or UAVs.
- Ability to autonomously implement features and bring testing platforms to state-of-the-art within first 90 days.

- Experience with cloud platforms for data upload and management.
- Familiarity with fixed-wing UAV design and propulsion integration.
- Knowledge of sensor integration and data acquisition systems.
