Description

As a Technical Specialist on second shift, you will perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of flight hardware using advanced metrology tools, ensuring the highest quality for 3D-printed rocket parts. You'll collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Quality Inspector
• Excellent knowledge of GD&T
• Ability to review drawings and identify improper callouts per ASME Y14.5
• Experience with metrology hand inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• CMM/PCMM experience using Verisurf or similar software

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of flight hardware
• Provide detailed in-process and final inspections using CAD and drawings
• Provide feedback to Machine Shop to improve hardware quality
• Review hardware requirements and document pass/fail status and non-conformances
• Provide feedback to Engineering and Additive departments on quality issues
