Description

You will drive strategic growth by acquiring new enterprise customers and expanding relationships in existing large accounts. Engage C-level stakeholders, use proven sales methodologies like MEDDPICC and Challenger Sales to manage complex cycles from prospecting to close.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10+ years of success in enterprise SaaS or cloud infrastructure sales.
  • Proven track record of overachieving multimillion-dollar targets (e.g. President's Club or top 10%).
  • Experience closing complex, consultative deals with long sales cycles.
  • Skilled in outcome-based selling and Challenger Sales methodology.
  • Hands-on experience with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with open-source technologies, data infrastructure, cloud services (e.g. Apache Kafka, databases).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work in a global team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and win new enterprise logos in the AMER region, focusing on $500M+ revenue organizations.
  • Lead full sales cycle from outreach through negotiation and closing.
  • Grow revenue within existing enterprise customers by uncovering new use cases and upselling services.
  • Build trusted relationships with C-suite, VP, and technical leaders.
  • Articulate business value of Aiven's platform using Command of the Message.
  • Qualify opportunities using MEDDPICC framework and accurately forecast sales plans.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Solution Architects, Product, and Engineering.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and provide competitive insights.
  • Exceed sales quotas and KPIs.
