💼 About This Role

You'll own the end-to-end electrical design of industrial, office, and lab facilities at a battery recycling company. Your core impact is delivering code-compliant, construction-ready packages as Electrical Engineer of Record. You'll work across diverse project types including hazardous occupancy and 34.5 kV site infrastructure.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design medium voltage (up to 34.5 kV) feeds, low voltage power distribution, lighting, raceway, grounding, and communications.
• Serve as Electrical Engineer of Record producing permit and construction drawings.
• Perform power system studies (short-circuit, arc flash, coordination) using SKM or ETAP.
• Lead multi-discipline coordination to produce complete Issue for Construction packages.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Nevada or eligible for reciprocity within 2 months.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy commercial and industrial sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and SKM or ETAP.

✨ Nice to Have

• Expertise in National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA standards.
• Proficiency in AmpCalc for cable ampacity calculations.
• Ability to perform photometric studies using Visual or AGI.
