You'll design and implement backend services in Rust within a microservices architecture for an edtech platform. You'll maintain existing Python services (FastAPI) and contribute to architectural decisions. This role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge AI and machine learning technologies.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and implement backend services in Rust
• Maintain and evolve existing Python services (FastAPI)
• Participate in code reviews and raise engineering bar
• Contribute to architectural decisions on language and patterns

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience
• 3+ years of production experience with Rust
• Strong Python with FastAPI, asyncio, type-driven development
• Deep understanding of microservices and communication patterns

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience migrating Python services to Rust under real load
• Exposure to vector databases (e.g., Qdrant)
• Familiarity with LangChain / LangGraph and RAG
