💼 About This Role

You'll design and plan copper and fiber optic outside plant (OSP) projects, coordinate permitting and construction, and ensure network infrastructure meets standards. Your work directly impacts telecommunications infrastructure for mission-critical networks. You'll collaborate with municipalities and utilities to deliver projects on time and within budget.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design OSP facilities for copper and fiber networks (aerial, buried, conduit)
• Prepare and submit permit packages to agencies
• Coordinate with municipal officials and utilities on projects
• Support construction projects with contractors and conduct inspections

📋 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in copper and fiber optic network engineering
• Minimum 5 years in network engineering or OSP work including permitting
• Proficiency in FROGS, Varasset, and SiteTracker tools
• Reside within 2 hours of Freeport, IL
