Description

You will direct the research and development of Computer Vision technology to contribute critical business needs for Samsung Electronics, leading AI core technology research and development and ensuring publications at top conferences. You will collaborate with Samsung Research teams to revolutionize products with new AI technology.

Requirements

• PhD degree and 12+ years work experience in Computer Vision related field
• Understanding of state-of-the-art Computer Vision theories, techniques, optimization strategies (Generative AI Engine Applications, Image Processing/Search/Generation, Image/Video related solution)
• Industry experience leading innovative projects in research environments
• Experience and success technically leading teams of machine learning/computer vision specialists
• Strong background in programming

Responsibilities

• Lead AI core technology research and development to prepare company's future and differentiate current business
• Look for opportunities to revolutionize Samsung products with new AI technology together with Samsung Research teams
• Ensure that Centers publish at top conferences and journals (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI, etc.)
• Satisfy patents paper goals and organize scientific events (conferences, workshops, challenges)
