Description

You'll build the core services and AI infrastructure powering the first AI-native platform for hardware product development. Your work will turn unstructured data into structured engineering artifacts and orchestrate AI agents for proactive coordination. This is a ground-floor opportunity with a startup backed by an established manufacturing company.

Requirements

• **5+ years** building production backend systems with **3+ years in Python**
• Proficiency using **AI coding tools** (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, etc.)
• Strong experience with **FastAPI** or similar async Python web frameworks
• Production experience with **PostgreSQL** including schema design and query optimization

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs with OpenAPI specs using SQLAlchemy and Postgres
• Develop ingestion pipelines with Celery and Redis to extract structured artifacts from unstructured inputs
• Build and extend agentic AI workflows using LangChain and LangGraph for coordination tasks
• Integrate LLM APIs with streaming, error handling, and cost optimization
