As a Senior Business Development Manager for the Home & Garden category at refurbed, you'll identify, acquire, and close high-impact partnerships with brands and professional sellers, shaping the assortment strategy and growth of Europe's fastest-growing refurbished marketplace.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Partnerships, ideally in marketplace, retail, or e-commerce
  • Fluent in German and English; additional European language is a plus
  • Proven track record of closing complex enterprise-level deals and managing long sales cycles
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to influence senior leadership
  • Resilient, persistent, structured, and analytical problem-solver

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic sellers and brands to build a strong pipeline
  • Analyze market trends, demand signals, and assortment gaps to shape category growth strategy
  • Lead full sales cycle from outreach to contract negotiation and deal closure
  • Guide new partners through marketplace processes for successful onboarding and go-live
  • Represent refurbed at industry fairs and events to build visibility and relationships
