You'll own the intelligence layer for a fintech startup building the financial OS for SMBs, leading both data infrastructure and analytics. Your core impact will be translating strategic questions into actionable data products while also writing code and solving data quality issues. This role uniquely blends hands-on engineering with leadership in high-ambiguity setting.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Set data architecture vision and own the data roadmap
• Balance reactive data quality tasks with long-term strategy
• Lead complex data projects including entity resolution at scale
• Build self-serve analytics and AI-queryable data layers

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in data engineering or related field
• Python and SQL proficiency to review and contribute code
• Experience with ML-based data enrichment and entity resolution
• Fluency in AI data patterns for RAG and agent consumption

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience at fintech, payments, or data-rich vertical SaaS
• Familiarity with vector databases or embedding pipelines
• Experience evaluating data for commercial applications
