You'll drive the development of electric propulsion systems for our satellite bus at Apex, a fast-growing aerospace startup. You'll design propulsion architecture from clean-sheet, integrate with other subsystems, and ensure optimal performance through testing. This role offers the chance to shape spacecraft propulsion at a company backed by $200M in funding.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design electric propulsion system architecture and product specifications.
• Define placement and integration of electric propulsion systems.
• Develop qualification and acceptance test plans for environmental testing.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing anomalies and ensure design for manufacturability.

📋 Requirements

• U.S. Person status required.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electric propulsion, or aerospace engineering.
• 3+ years of propulsion design and test experience.
• Experience with pressurized systems handling and testing.

✨ Nice to Have

• Master's degree in aerospace-related discipline.
• Experience leading electric propulsion hot-fire test campaign.
• Experience operating leak, burst, proof test facilities.
