You'll design and optimize a storage layer for AI observability and evaluation. Your work will enable scaling to trillions of traces. You'll engineer performant Rust code for ingestion and query execution on a fast-moving team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Engineer performant Rust code for ingestion and query execution
• Optimize cost and speed using memory and CPU profiling
• Integrate tightly with cloud object stores (S3/GCS/Azure Blob)
• Deploy distributed database services on Kubernetes

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in systems/database engineering
• Strong experience in systems programming (Rust, C++)
• Proficiency in systems performance analysis: memory, CPU, lock contention
• Strong fundamentals in networking and OS concepts

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of database internals (query engines, storage, indexing)
• Familiarity with similar query execution engines
• Experience with Kubernetes, distributed systems, cloud object storage
