Description

You will drive high-impact projects on Lyft's Pricing team, building scalable distributed systems that determine prices for all rideshare products and optimize the rider pricing experience. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to implement complex pricing requirements balancing rider, driver, and business needs.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Engineering, CS or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years software engineering industry experience
• Extensive experience in object-oriented programming (GoLang or Python)
• Experience in backend distributed systems and concurrency
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners

Responsibilities

• Drive high-impact projects and innovate solutions for user experience
• Lead features from idea to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Write well-crafted, maintainable code using Python, Golang, AWS
• Participate in code reviews and on-call rotations
• Share knowledge through tech talks and promote engineering best practices
