Description

As a Junior Supply Chain Coordinator, you will ensure production runs smoothly by delivering products on time and in the right quality. You'll collaborate with procurement, production, warehouse, and quality teams to solve daily challenges and improve processes, directly impacting customer satisfaction and reducing waste.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or a production environment (food industry is a plus)
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data (e.g. Excel, ERP/WMS systems, or similar tools)
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• A continuous improvement mindset and a natural sense of ownership

Responsibilities

• Ensure production is supplied on time and in full by monitoring inventory levels and aligning with demand
• Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, resolving delivery issues and managing communication throughout the week
• Identify and resolve operational deviations (e.g. OTIF issues), minimizing impact on customers and production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as procurement, warehouse, production, product, and FSQA to ensure alignment and smooth execution
• Monitor product quality and delivery details (e.g. BBD, shortages, oversupply), and take action to reduce waste
• Analyze root causes of recurring issues and implement improvements to prevent future disruptions
• Track and report on supplier performance, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement
