๐Ÿ’ผ About This Role

You'll lead the development and deployment of robust navigation systems for hull-cleaning and NDT inspection robots. You'll solve real localization problems in GPS-denied underwater environments. This role offers the chance to deploy cutting-edge sensor fusion solutions on critical infrastructure.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Design and implement error-state EKF/UKF/Particle Filters for underwater localization.
  • Fuse data from IMUs, DVLs, pressure sensors, and acoustic positioning systems.
  • Calibrate and validate sensor stacks including bias, alignment, and timing synchronization.
  • Deploy and debug localization solutions in field environments under tight timelines.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Proficiency in designing localization filters (EKF, UKF, Particle Filters).
  • Experience fusing underwater sensor data (IMU, DVL, USBL/LBL, sonar).
  • Strong background in state-space modeling and observability for underwater vehicles.
  • Expertise in sensor calibration, timing, and noise management for underwater systems.

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Experience with hull-relative localization and close-to-structure navigation.
  • Familiarity with ROS or similar robotics middleware.
  • Knowledge of acoustic multipath and latency handling.

๐ŸŽ Benefits & Perks

  • ๐Ÿ–๏ธ Flexible PTO
  • ๐Ÿฅ Full medical, dental, and vision insurance
