Description

You will oversee core accounting operations and the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP. You'll strengthen internal controls, enhance process efficiency, and support scalable infrastructure for a growing organization. As a strategic business partner, you will lead technical accounting matters, M&A activities, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• CPA license required
• 10+ years of accounting/financial reporting experience, 3+ years in public accounting
• Expertise in US GAAP and SEC reporting
• Global experience preferred; retail experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, annual close processes ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Research and document technical accounting matters (equity, leases, foreign transactions, software capitalization, goodwill, intangibles)
• Draft, update, and maintain accounting policies; educate team and implement new US GAAP standards
• Oversee annual audit coordination and resolve technical accounting matters with external auditors
• Lead due diligence, purchase accounting, finance integration, and stakeholder engagement for M&A
