Description

You will lead the mechanical design and integration of ruggedized electronics and mission-critical hardware into ground- and sea-mobile platforms for aerospace and defense applications, from concept through production and sustainment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 8+ years of experience in platform-level mechanical design and system integration for aerospace/defense
• Proven experience integrating mechanical subsystems into vehicles or mobile platforms
• Strong proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) for large assemblies
• Familiarity with military standards such as MIL-STD-810

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and hands-on prototyping of mission systems integration into ground/sea platforms
• Design mechanical structures subject to shock, vibration, thermal, and environmental constraints
• Develop and maintain 3D CAD models and interface control documentation
• Perform structural and thermal analyses to ensure compliance with military standards
• Lead system-level integration, qualification, and acceptance activities
