Description

You will build and lead a new Machine Learning Acceleration team to drastically reduce ML model training cycles and enable rapid hot-patching for autonomous vehicle services. You'll define technical strategy, recruit and mentor engineers, and collaborate with ML research and product teams to implement scalable acceleration solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years software engineering experience with 5+ years in ML systems and performance optimization
• 3+ years in a technical lead or management role building high-performing teams
• Extensive experience with large-scale ML model training and deployment in production
• Deep expertise in PyTorch or JAX, performance profiling, and optimization for DNNs
• Strong programming skills in Python; C++ is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and manage a high-performing team of ML and infrastructure engineers focused on acceleration
• Define technical vision and strategy for ML acceleration, evaluating cutting-edge technologies
• Design and implement scalable ML acceleration solutions including data pipeline and distributed training optimization
• Collaborate with ML research, platform, and product teams to integrate acceleration solutions
• Measure and report impact of acceleration efforts, continuously seeking optimization opportunities
