💼 About This Role

You'll join a cross-functional team building the #1 training platform for runners at Runna. You'll design and implement complex algorithms and modelling components for personalized training plans. This role offers a chance to impact millions of runners as part of the Strava family.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build, test, and deliver new training features like strength and post-injury plans
• Experiment with algorithms, design patterns, and optimizations for training systems
• Coach and support engineers through guidance, mentorship, and code reviews
• Collaborate with coaches to deliver expertise to users

📋 Requirements

• 3+ years experience in software engineering modelling position
• Proficiency in Python for production code with scalable design patterns
• Ability to design complex algorithms and modelling components (e.g., exercise scheduling)
• Experience testing modelling-focused software for quality and maintainability

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with deployment, release cycles, or CI/CD
• Experience delivering features end-to-end from design to release
• Experience in a product-focused organization building consumer applications
