Description

You will operate and maintain thermal energy storage and boiler systems, collaborating with engineering and operations teams to commission and run first-of-a-kind industrial installations. Your work directly supports the demonstration of long-duration energy storage technology.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training or military experience preferred
• 3+ years operations experience with control systems (DCS/SCADA/PLCs)
• Extensive knowledge of health and safety regulations for hazardous energy and chemicals
• Skilled in test equipment, calibration tools, machinery repair, and control system diagnostics
• Understanding of energy storage processes including steam generators and boilers

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced operational and technical tasks on plant systems including boilers and control systems
• Manage lockout/tagout, hot work permits, job hazard analysis, and confined space entries
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures for operations and maintenance
• Diagnose, test, and rebuild large industrial machinery
• Mentor and train team members on complex technical processes
