You will help train AI models on mechanical engineering topics by conversing with the model, verifying factual accuracy, capturing error traces, and suggesting improvements. Your expertise in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, dynamics, solid mechanics, control systems, finite element analysis, and mechanical design will directly shape the next generation of AI for scientific discovery.

Requirements

• PhD in mechanical engineering or closely related field
• Peer-reviewed publications, CAD/CAE project experience, system design work, or applied research in mechanical systems
• Clear, metacognitive communication skills (showing your work)
• Secure computer and high-speed internet (as a contractor)

Responsibilities

• Challenge advanced language models on engineering scenarios and theoretical questions
• Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model responses
• Capture reproducible error traces to harden model reasoning
