Description

You will design, analyze, and build fluid systems for Starship and Super Heavy vehicles, including high-pressure gas storage, cryogenic fluid management, and attitude control. You'll transform system requirements into hardware, perform structural analysis, and drive manufacturing and testing of flight hardware to enable interplanetary missions.

Requirements

• Graduating with bachelor's, master's, or PhD in 2026 or 2027 in engineering or physics
• 1+ years of mechanical or fluids design/analysis/build experience
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends
• Willingness to relocate to Starbase, TX
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident (ITAR)

Responsibilities

• Perform fluids system sizing analysis to determine system requirements
• Design pressurized and unpressurized structures and parts in CAD
• Perform structural analysis of parts for survivability
• Drive first builds of flight hardware and establish production line
• Coordinate development, qualification, and acceptance testing
