Description

You will benchmark system performance, analyze database performance, optimize capacity, and troubleshoot distributed systems. You'll work closely with core engineering teams to improve ClickHouse Cloud's performance and lead chaos engineering initiatives.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience building scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems
• Proficiency in Go, C/C++, or Java
• Experience with concurrency, multithreading, and distributed system architectures
• Experience with cloud infrastructure services and Kubernetes
• Expertise with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Responsibilities

• Benchmark system and database performance, capacity sizing and optimization
• Troubleshoot and debug application and server errors
• Recommend configuration tuning for performance bottlenecks
• Plan and drive Chaos Engineering initiatives across Engineering teams
• Develop and manage tools for chaos experiments and impact measurement
