💼 About This Role

You'll own end-to-end player experience for World of Tanks: HEAT, leading core gameplay systems like combat and progression. You'll define complex interlocking mechanics that enable emergent gameplay and player expression. This role offers leadership of a design team and direct collaboration with Creative and Gameplay directors.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Define core gameplay systems with Creative and Gameplay directors
• Design complex, interlocking systems for emergent gameplay
• Write and maintain clear, concise Game Design Documents
• Partner with UI/UX teams for intuitive mechanics
• Lead and grow a team of designers through reviews and iteration

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years in game design with lead role on a shipped high-profile title
• Experience working within game engines like Unreal Engine 5 or Unity
• Ability to deconstruct successful games into actionable design principles
• Strong grasp of UX principles and passion for accessibility

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Wargaming's proprietary engine
• Familiarity with progression system design
• Background in FPS or vehicular combat games
