Description

As an HPC Systems Engineer at SpaceX, you will manage and support HPC clusters, storage systems, and high-speed networks that enable groundbreaking aerospace engineering. Your work will directly impact missions to advance space exploration, including enabling human life on Mars.

Requirements

• 1+ years hands-on experience with client/server hardware, enterprise networking, virtualization, and security
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline (or 2+ years professional software experience)
• Experience with Linux
• 3+ years professional experience building, deploying and troubleshooting Linux systems (preferred)
• Experience with scripting (Bash, Python) to automate tasks (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage HPC clusters, storage systems, and high-speed networks
• Provide application support to SpaceX employees across engineering disciplines
• Install and integrate Linux-based compute clusters
• Write instructional documentation and convey technical ideas in non-technical terms
