๐ผ About This Role
You'll lead industrial engineering workstreams across manufacturing and warehousing environments for U.S. federal government clients. You'll define and evaluate process flows, identify constraints, and develop improvement scenarios to support facility modeling and modernization. This role offers the chance to drive operational excellence in a mission-driven consulting environment.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Lead gathering and validation of operational datasets for manufacturing and warehousing.
- Conduct time studies, throughput modeling, and bottleneck analysis.
- Define and structure model inputs for facility, warehouse, or manufacturing models.
- Develop decision-ready visuals and narrative summaries for operational recommendations.
- Prepare detailed process maps, facility layouts, and SOPs.
๐ Requirements
- 4โ8 years of experience in industrial engineering or related fields.
- Demonstrated success leading IE or operations workstreams (time studies, throughput modeling, etc.).
- Experience preparing structured inputs for facility or manufacturing models.
- Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with SQL or analytics tooling (Python/R) preferred.
โจ Nice to Have
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Familiarity with simulation or digital-twin tools.
- Experience supporting DoD depots or logistics centers.
