💼 About This Role

You'll be a core driver of the detailed thermal design of spacecraft subsystems for K2 Space, which is building the largest and highest-power satellites ever flown. You'll run thermal analysis at component and spacecraft levels and explore management strategies through test campaigns. This role offers the chance to work on groundbreaking spacecraft for missions from LEO to deep space.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop passive and active thermal control hardware for spacecraft
• Create thermal models and tests for electronic assemblies
• Analyze nominal and contingency cases for in-orbit operations
• Maintain thermal models using Thermal Desktop and Ansys

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of satellite thermal design and analysis
• Radiative and conductive thermal modeling of spacecraft systems using Thermal Desktop
• Selection and design of thermal control hardware (heat pipes, heaters, etc.)
• Thermal cycling and vacuum testing including predictions and correlation
