💼 About This Role

You'll join the Paid Support Experience team at Stripe, building a greenfield product that provides AI-driven support and tooling for merchants. As an early hire, you'll shape the technical strategy and culture of the team while delivering high-quality product experiences. You'll set the technical strategy for the team and build robust internal tooling for support roles.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and operate production systems with high reliability
• Write and review code to elevate team standards
• Build end-to-end product experiences with user empathy
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders on long-term vision

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of professional backend or full-stack development experience
• Experience setting and executing long-term technical strategy
• Track record of technical leadership and mentoring engineers
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
