You'll manage and scale a highly available database infrastructure handling up to 2 PB of data and 100,000 operations per second. You'll own database architecture decisions, performance optimization, and reliability improvements. This role offers the chance to work on platforms used by millions worldwide.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop infrastructure on GCP
• Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues
• Optimize slow queries and database performance
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams

📋 Requirements

• Proven experience as an SRE on GCP or other cloud platforms
• Experience administering MySQL server
• Knowledge of MySQL backup solutions and replication
• Basic query and index optimization skills

• Experience with Python, Golang, or Shell
• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Elasticsearch
• Understanding of load balancers, DNS, and networking
