Description

As a legal intern, you will work directly with staff attorneys and clients, handling assignments such as client interviews, legal research, drafting pleadings, and representing clients in administrative hearings and court. You will also attend intake clinics and outreach events. This internship offers hands-on experience in a general practice unit serving the LGBTQ community and people living with HIV/AIDS.

Requirements

• Must be a law student
• Interest in working with LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS clients
• Interest in direct legal services
• Willingness to work in Brooklyn, New York
• Submit cover letter, resume, and writing sample

Responsibilities
