💼 About This Role

You'll work as the first manufacturing hire, collaborating with design engineers and external partners to scale robotic solar farm construction from prototype to production. Your core impact will be directly deploying gigawatts of clean electricity. You'll lead production scaling of state-of-the-art robotic systems that assemble solar farms in the field.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead production scaling of robotic systems for solar farm assembly
• Collaborate with design engineers on manufacturability and cost-effectiveness
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, drawings, and BOMs
• Support part qualification, incoming inspection, and supplier quality initiatives

📋 Requirements

• 4-8 years bringing complex electromechanical products from prototype to production
• Ability to read and create mechanical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Strong written/verbal communication with engineers, suppliers, and leadership
• Based in or relocate to SF Bay Area, able to work 4-5 days/week in San Leandro HQ

• Degree in a related field
• Experience with ION manufacturing software
• Familiarity with DFM, DFA, or GD&T principles
