You will lead and transform Chicago Public Media's sales and sponsorship operations, driving revenue growth across digital, radio, and print platforms. This role involves overseeing strategy, managing teams, and building new sales channels to support our mission-driven journalism.

Requirements

  • Proven sales leadership experience in the media industry
  • Preference for experience in digital, public radio, or newspapers
  • Demonstrated ability to close sales and improve sales processes
  • Exceptional ability in managing and developing sales talent
  • Track record of motivating teams to exceed targets

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive advertising and sponsorship strategy across multiple channels
  • Drive revenue growth in digital advertising including custom content, programmatic, streaming, newsletters, social, and podcasts
  • Integrate radio, newspaper, and digital sales teams and operations
  • Analyze market trends, set budgets, and measure campaign performance
  • Build new sales channels such as hyperlocal sales and archive monetization
